Security testing should be accessible to organizations that need it most. We dedicate 18% of our annual capacity to working with educational institutions, healthcare providers, and community services at reduced rates or pro bono. These organizations hold sensitive information about vulnerable populations, yet they often lack the budget for professional security assessments.
Each engagement includes not just the assessment itself, but training sessions for their technical teams. We document findings in clear language that non-technical decision makers can understand. This creates lasting capacity rather than one-time fixes. When a school district or clinic can identify and address vulnerabilities on their own, the protection extends far beyond our involvement.
Since founding Kelamipud in 2024, we have completed 14 philanthropic engagements across Saskatchewan. Our team reviews applications quarterly and prioritizes organizations serving underserved populations. The work is challenging and the economics are tight, but seeing a rural health clinic secure its patient records makes every hour worthwhile.
